Chowabungga!, Cebu I.T. Park

Photo not mine
My colleagues and I were craving for omellete last weekend, so we took a hike from the office to the nearest breakfast restaurant, Chowabungga!. Actually they are more of a Jollibee-type fastfood set up and they also do serve lunch and dinner. =)

What it looks like inside
Those photos on their wall makes you want to order more.

Krispy Kreme Cebu

This store has always been the fanciest doughnuts and coffee shop in the Philippines. Before, people from the south had to go to Manila just to purchase Krispy Kreme..... And those were the days.
Krispy Kreme Asiatown, I.T. Park

Hello! Krispy Kreme Cebu! Recently, roughly 3 weeks ago, Krispy Kreme opened its 26th branch in Ayala Center Cebu and its 4th Factory store/branch in Asiatown I.T.Park. Yay! Walking distance from where I work. =)
Its been 3 weeks and there's still this long queue outside both stores. I mean, its not going anywhere. haha.
Anyhoo, can't blame 'em because everyone from the Queen City of the South, wanted to taste the most delish doughnut in the whole wide world, even I joined the queue. Over na ba ako?
See? Im falling in line too. Haha

Casa Verde, IT Park, Cebu

The Boyfie is recuperating from his fever, however it didnt stop him from dining out in the city. Initially, we were supposed to have dinner at Oyster Bay but its too far, prolly next time. We decided to eat at Casa Verde I.T. Park, Lahug.

Casa Verde is comparable to TGI Friday's because they too serve steaks, salads, clubhouse sandwiches, and meals; only more affordable

Dimsum Break

I had my eyes checked few days ago so I can get my prescription glasses. I really wanted the cat-eye one from Ray-Ban its not available, So I  checked the glasses from Lacoste and United Colors of Benetton since the Optometrist [who is cute by the way] insisted I get either of the two. Even though we can pay it in 5 months, I decided to get one from Levis. Better watch out for my geeky-goofy-nerdy look!

Since we are at BTC, we made the decision to dine at Dimsum Break for lunch aside from the fact that its affordable, we also love their customer service.

Feedback

Instead of the usual feedback form, they have TxtPress. Yes! You will give your feedback thru text messaging. haha!

What I hate about the place:
I saw a FLY inside the place. :|

What I love about the place:
Very affordable
Yummy
Excellent Customer Service. Why? You see the pancit canton up there? Supposed to be it has only 2 pieces of bread, but since I wanted two, they let it slide.
     They have super friendly waiters/waitresses.
When you go out, they'll say "Thank you for coming Ma'am, see you tomorrow!" Imagine?!
What they lack from the total cleanliness of their facility, they make it up to their superb Customer Service.

Post Birthday X Rico's Lechon Cebu

I am happy today, forgive me if I will be blogging my post birthday celebration that was held last November 4, 2011 exactly 11pm. =)
'Twas a simple celebration, we had a medium-sized Lechon Cebu [roasted pig in Cebu, PI] which was ordered from Rico's Lechon in Talamban. We also had Dinugu-an [stewed internal organs of the pig-FYI,its exotic], we had a tray of Mango Float, Ice cream, 3 trays of carbonara and rice. And they bought me a little round cake with my name on it. So sweet of them [insert sappy face here].

Tara made me the birthday banner.

Party food
This is my second Lechon Cebu and Rico's Lechon is the best lechon Cebu by far. It is soooooo tasty to the bone. LITERALLY!

Anyhoo, this blog is all about Lechon Cebu.
I consider Lechon Cebu as one of the world's YUMMIEST Lechon, and as the great Anthony Bourdain [a great chef, a grumpy sharp-tongued host of No Reservations,  best-selling author public speaker, weary world traveler, gourmand, punk-rock aficionado, proud New Yorker and, most recently, doting father] once said “Speaking of pig? It can now be said that of all the whole roasted pigs I've had all over the world, the slow roasted lechon I had on Cebu was the best. This puts the standings in the Hierarchy of Pork as follows:
#1 Philippines;
#2 Bali;
#3 Puerto Rico…”

The Lechon that i ordered was from Rico's Lechon, located at
Highway 77, Talamban, Cebu City, PH.
How to get there

Mr. Enrico V. Dionson, the propreitor of Rico's Lechon invented the first SPICY lechon making your lechon smokin' hot! And dishes up their non-spicy lechon with garlic and leeks/spring onions [dahon ng sibuyas] ONLY! Now, their secret is how these two ingredients make up a very delish lechon. Hmmm.
Spicy Lechon
I ordered the P3800 lechon which could feed 25-30 people, but I think I fed almost 40 people earlier. LOL

Photos print screened from Rico's Lechon website

Looking forward to trying the other famous Lechon Cebu such as CNT, Alejo's and Zubuchon so I can taste the difference.
You may visit Rico's Lechon Official Website HERE.

Enjoy your Saturday!

First NOTD: Let's get crackin'

I might be a little late in trying out the new nail polish trend and no, I ain't  talking about nail arts where Nail Technicians [manicurists/pedicurists] had to draw cute little designs on the nail.
Im talking about Cracking Nail Polish. Yes, it cracks by itself! =)

First: Paint your nails with your desired nail polish as a base.
I chose Glaze Snowglitz by Bobbie.
Let it dry.

Lastly, paint it with the cracking nail polish.
I used Cracking Nail Polish No. 439 by Monaliza.
In low light.

Blow your painted nails and Voila! It'll crack and it'll dry in less than 10 seconds!
In broad daylight

Amazing right?

I always go for plain light to dark subtle colors when it comes to nail colors but since this is so fun to do, I will not remove this for a week. =)
